Burke Collins MS, LMTBurke Collins grew up in Austin, Texas and earned his Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas. He earned is masters degree in exercise physiology from the University of Florida and has been involved in treating sports injuries for the past 14 years. Burke became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a licensed Massage Therapist. Prior to working in the field, Burke began studying injury treatment and prevention while playing football in college for the University of Texas Longhorns. While pursuing his masters at UF, Burke worked closely with the Gators national championship football team. After moving to Tampa in 1997, Burke started Back To Work Physical Therapy. Rene’ CollinsRene’ Collins has over 20 years experience in Operations, Management, Training & Development, Human Resources and Consulting. Most recently she started a biotechnology company with IP developed at USF and Shriners Hospital for Children called MiMedx. She has worked for NovaCare and CompHealth, as well as Marriott Corporation, AAA Motor Club, and as an independent consultant for Travelers Insurance Company. Her main focus has been on operational efficiency, internal growth and expansion. Rene’ studied business administration at the State University of New York and California Coast University. For the past 11 years, she has also co-owned and managed a physical therapy clinic located in Tampa Florida. Lindsay Thommes, BS,Lindsay Thommes graduated from the University of Tampa with her bachelors degree in Exercise Science. There also she received her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2007 and has been a personal fitness trainer and fitness competitor for two years. Originally born and raised in Key West, Lindsay has always been very active and athletic. As a High School Student Lindsay Lettered all 4 years for the Varsity Soccer and Track & Field Team. She is currently fulfilling all the necessary arrangements that will allow her to fulfill her career goals on a different playing field. Within the next few years Lindsay plans on receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Lindsay currently works as a Physical Therapy Technician at the Back to Work clinic. Here she assists the Senior Therapist and helps with day to day functions of the clinic. Lindsay's bright smile always makes patients feel welcome but most importantly, her expertise and knowledge of working hands on with patients encourages them to work hard to reach their therapy goals. Lisa Carlock, DPTLisa Carlock holds a BS in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of South Florida. After graduating from UF, Lisa spent 2 years working as a Public Health Volunteer in Kenya with the Peace Corps. Her main focus was health education on HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, and water borne illnesses. She helped open an HIV testing and counseling center in Loitokitok, Kenya and started an HIV support group that is still active today. She also taught high school science in the Hillsborough County School District prior to returning to school for her DPT degree. Lisa has continued with teaching through tutoring PT and MD students in Molecular Medicine and Medical Physiology at USF and is a Clinical Instructor for students in the Physical Therapy field. Noah Midili, PTANoah Midili was born in the Tampa area, went to middle school in Kentucky and high school in Michigan. He enlisted in the United States Army, serving 4 Active years as a Combat Engineer and 4 in the Inactive Ready Reserve. Noah was certified as a Combat Life Saver and led a team of troops on a combat tour to Iraq in 2005. After an honorable discharge from the military, Noah went back to college for his A.A. After completing his A.A. on the Deans List he attended South University and received his A.S. as a Physical Therapist Assistant, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Noah is currently gaining knowledge and sharing his experience of Manual techniques and Therapeutic Exercise while working at both Back to Work Physical Therapy clinics. Noah is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Lynda Parks, DPTLynda Parks graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Physical Therapy and Exercise Physiology. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Lynda previously worked in orthopedic private practice at Wayne Cannon Physical Therapy & Associates. She obtained significant clinical experience with utilizing manual therapy techniques and working with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, including neck, low back and hip pain, and injuries sustained while on the job. She worked closely with Dr. Allston Stubbs in the rehabilitation of patients that underwent arthroscopic labrum repair of the hip. Her prior employment also included the outpatient Sports Physical Therapy department of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, where she focused on sports injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation of the shoulder, knee and ankle.
Lynda is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is currently pursing her board certification specialty in Orthopedics. She serves as a clinical instructor for physical therapy graduate students. Lynda continues to expand her knowledge by attending courses focused on manual therapy techniques for treating neuromuscular and musculoskeletal impairments.
